The Fletcher School at Tufts University

The Fletcher School Master of International Business (MIB) program is a two-year inter-disciplinary program designed like a dual MBA-international affairs degree in order to give students a nuanced understanding of the business in the global context.

The Department of Economics may nominate up to two seniors annually for this program. Tufts University will award a minimum annual scholarship of $7,500 and up to full tuition remission to students nominated by the Department of Economics and admitted to the program.

Students nominated by the Department of Economics will receive special admission consideration and pre-application counseling and mentoring via direct contact with the Dean of Fletcher’s business program and the Institute for Business in the Global Context, the senior Fletcher Admissions representative, and the MIB program office.

A student admitted through this pathway will be named an International Business & Liberal Arts Scholar.

To be considered for nomination for a graduate scholarship for this program, please submit a completed application form (fillable PDF) to the Economics Department office (C3257) no later than Thursday, October 29, 2015 at noon.

 The Robert Day School at Claremont McKenna College

The Robert Day School Master’s Program in Finance is a rigorous one-year graduate program in financial economics that fosters analytical and quantitative expertise.

The Department of Economics may nominate up to one student annually for this program. The student nominated by the Department of Economics and admitted by The Robert Day School will be awarded a full-tuition scholarship.

To be qualified for nomination, the applicant must complete prior to the start of graduate classes in mid-August the following courses: Intermediate Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Statistics and Corporate Finance. The Corporate Finance requirement may also be met by a summer online course after graduation from Davidson College.
